Beginners' Meditation Class
There will be a new beginners' meditation class starting on:
Wednesday 28th September at 7.30 pm
This class introduces you to a traditional form of Buddhist meditation called "Samatha”. Samatha is a technique of breathing mindfulness, leading to greater calm and happiness, and more clarity and awareness in daily life. Buddhist teachings are used to help explain the meditation practice, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to benefit.
All are welcome, whether you are new to, or have previous experience of meditation.
There is no charge for the teaching, but we do ask everyone to make a contribution of £3.00 to £4.00 each towards the cost of running the class, including room hire.

* Suitable for those who have practiced Samatha meditation for a year or more.
